We've a working sheep farm with some lovely woods, lush pastures, rolling hills and a beautiful river (the Annan) for salmon and sea trout fishing. We have 7 cottages half of which are traditional (with coal fires as well as electric heating); the other half are recently modernised - again heated by storage heaters. Cycles are for hire. There's a games room, including darts, table tennis and a full sized snooker table, but walking, fishing and relaxing are the favourite occupations. It's very rural here.
