With golfing fishing boating walking available in the immediate area local transport can reach many other beautiful places within a very short timescale. The historical and beautiful city of York is only 40mins by train away and both the rail and bus stations have excellent services if guests want to leave their car at base. The proprietor will provide an evening meal at a reasonable price and will also prepare a 'packed lunch' if required. She will endeavour to assist guests in whatever way will be helpful to them.
