2 Rose Cottages is a traditional lakeland cottage dating from 1715, situated in the delightful village of Dacre within the Lake District National Park. The 3 bedroom cottage sleeps 6 and is situated in the centre of the village, just 100 yards from the 18th Century Horse and Farrier pub which serves good food and a range of hand pulled ales. Just 2 miles from Ullswater, Dacre is surrounded by beautiful countryside and has a huge choice of walks and cycling routes straight from the door. The unspoilt village boasts a church, castle, beck and a few small farms. The award winning visitor centre Rheged is only 2 miles away, and there are footpaths from the cottage door to Dalemain historic house.
