Originally a 19th century mansion, Longhirst is located near Morpeth, 18 miles north of Newcastle and only 2 miles from the A1. It is an ideal base for exploring the Northumbrian coastline and visiting Alnwick Castle, the setting for Hogwarts School in the magical Harry Potter films.
